…but I’m secretly actually rather proud of it. Come to think of it, that would be an absolutely foul way of describing child birth. With that delightful mental image I would like to announce that http://thejabberwocky.co.uk is finally there for all the world to see! It’s not perfect, it’s certainly not the image I would have people associate with the eventual majestic Jabberwocky itself, but it is a start. Some of the more exciting spelling mistakes have already been brought to my attention, and I’m sure that many more will present themselves in due course, but I stress that this is a rough draft, and that any offence taken is both intended and encouraged.
Mostly I wanted to have it live because now I really have to start hammering it into shape. I really don’t expect people to take a business seriously when it’s got broken links (ooh – see if you can find it!) and is frankly really not selling itself. But I’m having ideas! Now I just need a few months to learn java, php and sql and away we go, hooray!
Enough of this. My plan is to rewrite the website, based on what we have and what we are hoping soon to come by, thus ensuring it is both pleasing to the eye and fun to be with. Should you feel the need to pass judgement I hope it is a painless movement, and can be shared below or shouted from a distant location, I honestly don’t mind. There is more news tomorrow, but I feel we have enough to be getting along with. I keep grinning as well. I urge you to join in.
